What is Special Olympics at UF?
The purpose of Special Olympics at UF is to unite local Special Olympic athletes with University of Florida students through sports to enhance the lives of people with intellectual disabilities, building a more accepting world for all.
Special Olympics at UF is an official sports club through the University of Florida, connecting college students and individuals with intellectual disabilities to build friendships and help lead the social justice movement of Special Olympics.
Special Olympics programs are made up of three core elements:
